Rough Green Calcite Specimen

This is a natural mineral specimen consisting of rough, unpolished Green Calcite. Physically, the item exhibits the characteristic 'waxy' or soapy luster typical of the carbonate mineral family. The color is a vibrant pistachio or lime green that transitions into pale, semi-translucent minty shades. A significant horizontal inclusion or structural band of brown/rusty host rock or iron oxide staining traverses the middle of the specimen, creating a distinct visual break in the green crystal structure. The specimen appears to have a rhombohedral cleavage, visible in the jagged, stepped edges where the crystal has naturally broken away from a larger vein.
