Mid-Century Modern Chinoiserie Chest

This is a two-piece chest, appearing to be constructed from a rich, warm-toned wood, possibly walnut or teak, exhibiting a distinctive grain pattern. The upper section is a cabinet with two doors that meet in the center, adorned with a large, ornate brass or bronze medallion-style pull. The chest sits on a dark, possibly black or very dark green, recessed base with sculpted or flared feet, which further accentuates its Chinoiserie influence. The finish appears to be glossy, showing some age and possibly minor surface wear consistent with its likely vintage.
