This is a vintage two-tier 'dumbwaiter' style accent table, constructed in the traditional Duncan Phyfe Revival aesthetic common in the mid-20th century (circa 1940s-1950s). The table features two circular wooden surfaces with decorative pie-crust or scalloped 'dish' edges designed to prevent items from sliding off. Both tiers exhibit a rich reddish-brown mahogany finish. The structure is supported by a central turned pedestal with a fluted or ring-turned column connecting the tiers, terminating in a classic tripod base with three splayed saber legs. Each leg is finished with decorative brass-tone metal claw-foot toe caps, typical of the Federal or Regency revival styles. Physically, the piece appears to be made of solid wood and veneers. Regarding condition, there is visible surface wear consistent with age, including scuffing, minor scratches, and some cloudiness or 'blushing' in the finish on the larger bottom tier. The craftsmanship reflects mass-market high-quality production of its era, with graceful proportions and functional elegance.
