This specimen is a raw, water-worn nodule of nephrite jade, approximately the size of a small plum. It displays a characteristic deep spinach-green to forest-green hue, with subtle variations in translucency across its irregular, undulating surface. The stone's texture is typical of nephrite, exhibiting a waxy to sub-vitreous luster and a dense, felted fibrous structure that provides it with exceptional toughness.
