The exterior surface is densely covered in a thick layer of white sanded grout or adhesive, embedded with various mixed-media elements. The primary decorative material consists of jagged, irregular shards of recycled ceramic dinnerware in various patterns, including floral motifs in pink and green, solid deep-red pieces, and fragments with metallic gold gilding. Interspersed among the china shards are several three-dimensional embellishments, including faux pearl beads of varying sizes, small iridescent glass gems (cabochons), and a tiny metallic flower charm. The bottom edge is finished with a row of amber and translucent glass pebbles. The craftsmanship suggests a contemporary folk-art or hobbyist creation rather than a mass-produced item.
