This is a decorative Middle Eastern style coffee pot, commonly referred to as a Dallah, featuring a distinctive bulbous body and a high-domed lid. The item appears to be constructed from a non-ferrous white metal, potentially a silver-plated copper or a pewter-based alloy, exhibiting a muted silvery-grey patina consistent with aged oxidation. The exterior surface is extensively decorated with hand-chased and engraved geometric and floral motifs typical of Islamic metalwork. Small vertical bands of stylized repetitive patterns divide the main body into panels containing larger foliate scrolls. A notable feature is the ornate thumb-piece on the hinged lid and the serpentine, segmented handle which shows cast detailing. The spout is short and tapered, showing similar engraving to the body.
