A pair of decorative hand-turned wooden sculptures carved in the likeness of Bosc or Anjou pears. These pieces are crafted from a dense, medium-toned hardwood, likely teak, walnut, or monkey pod wood, exhibiting a rich, warm brown color with visible, attractive grain patterns including subtle 'cathedraling' on the bulbous bodies. Each pear stands approximately 4 to 5 inches tall and features a distinctively carved, angled stem that appears to be integrated into the main body or expertly dowelled for structural integrity. The finish is a smooth, low-to-mid-sheen varnish or oil that enhances the natural chatoyancy of the wood grain.
