1947-1948 Iceland Postage Stamps Independence Anniversary Series

This set consists of five rectangular postage stamps from Iceland (ÍSLAND), issued to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the re-establishment of the Republic. Each stamp features a bicolored design with a white border and fine serrated perforations. The denominations visible are 10 (blue/gray), 15 (green/gray), 20 (red/gray), 40 (purple/gray), and 80 (yellow/gray) aurar. No significant tearing, foxing, or creasing is immediately visible, suggesting a well-preserved collection. The centering on the 10 and 20 aurar stamps appears slightly shifted, which is common for this era.
