Vintage Floral Porcelain Baluster Vase with Flared Rim

This item is a vintage ceramic vase, likely porcelain or fine earthenware, featuring a classic baluster shape with a globular body and a distinctively wide, flared trumpet or 'tulip' rim. The base of the vase is a simple raised foot ring. The primary decoration consists of colorful polychrome floral transfers or hand-painted sprays, featuring a variety of garden flowers including a prominent yellow central blossom, pink roses, and blue forget-me-nots. A smaller, secondary floral spray is mirrored on the neck. The vase is detailed with thin yellow or gilded pinstripe bands around the rim, at the neck joint, and on the foot. The glaze is a creamy off-white or light ivory color with a glossy finish. Measuring approximately 8 to 10 inches in height, the construction shows industrial porcelain techniques typical of the mid-20th century (circa 1940-1960). In terms of condition, there is visible surface crazing throughout the glaze, which is a network of fine cracks caused by age and thermal expansion.
