Kachina Doll (possible Sio Salako Mana or similar)

This is a handcrafted Kachina doll, likely representing a Sio Salako Mana or a similar spirit figure from Pueblo traditions. The doll stands on a roughly carved, irregular wooden base, which appears to be a natural cross-section of a tree branch or trunk, finished to provide a stable display. The body and arms of the doll are carved from light-colored wood or a similar material, with the arms outstretched and bent at the elbows, depicting a dynamic posture. The hands are crudely formed, with visible carved fingers, and are adorned with what appears to be tanned leather thongs or straps wrapped around the wrists. The head of the doll is distinctly shaped, with a prominent yellow snout-like nose/mouth area and large, circular, bulging red eyes with dark pupils, giving it an otherworldly or intense expression. The head is enframed by a substantial amount of white, fluffy material, possibly sheep's wool or synthetic fur, forming a voluminous mane or headdress that obscures the ears and much of the neck. The skirt-like garment is predominantly white, with vibrant geometric patterns in black, light blue, orange, and possibly other colors, executed in a style reminiscent of traditional Native American textile designs.
