This item is a collection of two used philatelic specimens affixed to a piece of torn, fibrous brown wrapping paper. The piece features handwritten inscriptions in black ink reading 'Wiesbaden' and 'Kiedricher Str. 15p', suggesting a localized German destination. The first stamp is a horizontal red 'SAARLUFTPOST' (Saar Airmail) stamp with a 200f denomination, depicting an aerial view of a landscape with a river and a small airplane silhouette. The second is a vertical black-and-white 'SAAR' stamp with a 20f denomination, featuring a male figure with a pickaxe, emblematic of the region's mining industry. Both stamps show perforated edges and are tied to the paper by a circular black postmark fragment. The paper carrier is roughly torn with irregular, frayed edges and shows folding creases. These stamps date from the post-WWII era (approximately 1947-1956) when the Saar region was a French protectorate. The condition is used and 'clipped', with visible wear on the paper including staining and corner curling. The quality of the engraving on the stamps is high, typical of late 1940s European postal issues.
