The crystals display a vibrant range of purple hues, from light lavender at the upper periphery to a deep, saturated violet nearing the lower center, indicating high-quality iron impurities and natural irradiation during its formation. The crystal terminations appear sharp and largely intact, reflecting light with high glassy luster across the druzy surface. The specimen features a polished outer rim, also known as the host rock or matrix, which likely consists of agate or basalt based on typical geode formations from Brazil or Uruguay.
