Household Buttonholer in Original Box

This item is a vintage "Household Buttonholer" presented in its original light blue, fabric-covered box. The main device is a rectangular, dark reddish-brown (likely bakelite or early plastic) unit with rounded edges. It features a prominent purplish-brown knob on top, secured by a screw, which appears to be a control or adjustment mechanism. The word "HOUSEHOLD" is clearly embossed or printed in white capital letters on the top surface of the main unit. To the right of the main unit, within the box, are various metallic components, including what appears to be a foot or plate, likely made of chrome-plated or polished steel, with a slightly reflective surface. There are also what look like attachment rods or guides next to the main unit, suggesting it is a mechanical attachment for a sewing machine.
