It features a central drop-leaf top and six small drawers (three on each side) for notions. The drawer pulls are particularly distinctive, featuring a rustic, branch-like or 'log cabin' cast metal design. The base is an ornate black-painted cast-iron frame with a lattice-work foot treadle and stylized cabriole legs. Regarding condition, the piece shows significant signs of age and wear. The wooden surfaces exhibit surface scuffs, water rings, and finish loss, particularly on the top and drawer edges. Some hardware appears mismatched or damaged, with a missing pull on the middle right drawer. The cast-iron base shows dust accumulation and potential oxidation, though it appears structurally sound.
