This is a matched pair of ceramic salt and pepper shakers featuring a distinctive Art Deco aesthetic, likely dating from the 1930s to 1940s. Each shaker stands approximately 4 to 5 inches tall and exhibits a stylized, tapered silhouette with a flared, bulbous base. The hand-painted geometric design is characteristic of the period, utilizing a palette of orange, pale yellow, and sage green, delineated by bold black outlines. The tops are finished with a metallic gold luster glaze over the dispensing holes. The construction is hollow-cast ceramic with a glossy overglaze.
