This is a vintage Figural 'Fish' wine bottle produced for Muscadet de Sèvre et Maine wine. The bottle is constructed from pale translucent green glass, featuring a distinct molded-scale texture across the main body to simulate fish scales. The neck of the bottle is capped with a solid forest-green plastic or ceramic head attachment that forms the fish's face and open mouth, through which a traditional cork stopper is inserted. Based on the accompanying measuring stick, the bottle stands approximately 31-32 centimeters in height. The base is flared and features vertical fluting to suggest a tail fin or stable pedestal. The paper label is largely intact, bearing the 'MM' monogram within a decorative crest and clearly stating 'MUSCADET de Sèvre et Maine' along with the 'Appellation Contrôlée' designation.
