This is a detailed sculpture representing Guanyin, the Bodhisattva of Compassion, masterfully carved from a single block of natural rock crystal (clear quartz). The face is delicately rendered with a serene expression, closed eyes, and a visible urna on the forehead, utilizing a frosted or sandblasted texture to create a soft, ethereal appearance that contrasts with the high-transparency of the body. The deity is depicted in flowing robes with stylized, rhythmic folds that showcase the lapidary's skill in handling hardstone.
