The knife features a high-polished stainless steel clip-point blade measuring approximately 9 inches in length. The blade is etched with a portrait of Jim Bowie, his signature, and the text '200 th. Anniversary 1790 - 1990'. The tang is stamped with 'CASE XX', three dots representing the manufacturing year (1990), 'USA', and '1836'. The handle is constructed from polished black synthetic material, likely G-10 or Micarta, secured with three brass pins. It features a large brass S-guard which shows significant verdigris and tarnish, indicating a natural oxidation process. The knife comes with its original black leather sheath, which exhibits a basket-weave pattern, white stitching, and a brass snap closure. Overall, the blade remains in excellent, reflective condition without visible nicks, while the brass elements show age-related patina.
