The blade is prominently etched with a detailed scene commemorating the 175th Anniversary of 'The Star Spangled Banner' (1814-1989), featuring an image of the American flag over a fort, fireworks, and the signature of Francis Scott Key alongside the lyric 'Oh say does that Star Spangled Banner yet wave...'. The tang stamp indicates 'CASE XX USA 1836' alongside a serialization of '0589', confirming its production by W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. around 1989. The handle is constructed from authentic stag horn (antler), showcasing a characteristic rough, textured surface with natural brown and cream color variations. The knife features a heavy, S-shaped brass crossguard and a brass pommel cap.
