The piece features a long, serpentine front with four paneled doors and four drawers, all finished in a creamy off-white or antiqued ivory lacquer with heavy gold-tone or 'antique' glaze accents in the recessed carvings. The top surface appears to be a polished dark wood or a synthetic marble laminate in a warm brown tone. The construction features elaborate scrolling acanthus leaves, shell motifs, and floral swags across the door panels and substantial corner supports. The hardware consists of vertical bronze-toned metallic pulls. This piece likely dates from the mid-to-late 20th century (circa 1960s-1980s) and reflects the high-glamour interior trends of that era. The craftsmanship shows high-relief molded or hand-carved decorative elements, likely made of wood and resin mix.
