Vintage General Electric Electric School/Office Wall Clock

This is a mid-20th-century electric wall clock manufactured by General Electric, commonly referred to as a schoolhouse or office clock. The piece features a classic circular design with a dark brown or black Bakelite or molded industrial plastic frame. The white clock face displays bold black Arabic numerals and a minute track along the outer edge. A prominent 'GENERAL ELECTRIC' logo with the 'GE' monogram is centered below the 12 o'clock position. The hands include black hour and minute hands and a thin red sweeping second hand. Construction is typical of the 1940s-1960s era, emphasizing durability and high-visibility. The bottom of the dial is marked 'MADE IN U.S.A.' Condition appears fair to good vintage; there is noticeable yellowing or mottled patina on the white dial face, indicating age and possible environmental exposure. The glass crystal shows light reflections but seems intact. The item is resting on a cast-metal tractor seat base, which is not part of the original assembly.
