Limited Edition Crayola Collector's Colors Tin (Binney & Smith Co.)

This is a vintage-style rectangular storage tin produced as a limited edition for Crayola. The item features a deep forest green border with a central yellow rectangular panel. The graphic design utilizes a nostalgic, turn-of-the-century aesthetic with elaborate green scrollwork and flourishes. The text 'COLLECTOR'S COLORS' is boldly printed in a curved, red serif font with yellow highlights, while the iconic 'CRAYOLA' trade mark is rendered in a stylized yellow font with green outlining and horizontal hatch marks. To the left, a cartouche specifies manufacturing by 'BINNEY & SMITH CO. NEW YORK PARIS.' This tin was released in the early 1990s as part of a retirement campaign for specific crayon colors. The construction is of lithographed tin-plated steel. Condition-wise, the tin shows visible signs of surface wear, including minor scuffing and small instances of paint loss along the raised edges of the lid.
