The base of the unit consists of a dual-door cupboard with a central vertical mullion. The doors are attached with simple metallic hinges, and one door retains a brass-toned decorative swing latch. The architectural style utilizes flat-panel construction and scalloped edges on the top gallery and the bottom plinth. The condition shows heavy use and age, with significant staining on the interior bottom shelf, likely from spilled oils or extracts. There is visible wear to the wood finish, including scratches, thinning of the stain at the edges, and slight splintering on the back galley.
