Masonic Library and Portrait Collection

This collection features a curated selection of leather-bound and cloth books accompanied by formal masonic portraits. The top shelf contains a multi-volume set of 'History of the World' with dusty rose/mauve cloth covers and gilded floral and text flourishes on the spines. Adjacent is a series of olive-drab leather or buckram bound volumes with gold-stamped title panels on the spine. The lower shelf is dominated by a tight row of dark-green leather-bound matching volumes featuring prominent gilded diamond-and-floral blind stamping on the spines, indicative of a high-quality collected set from the mid-20th century. Punctuating the bookshelf are three framed portraits in black cardboard folders with gold-line borders. The most significant portrait depicts a man in full masonic regalia, including a formal dark suit, white gloves, and a decorative apron featuring masonic symbols, suggesting highly ranked lodge participation.
