Vintage Flowered Porcelian Sandwich or Dessert Tray with Chrome Handle

This is a vintage bone china or porcelain dessert/sandwich tray, likely of British manufacture (consistent with styles from makers like Royal Albert or Hammersley) dating to the mid-20th century, approximately 1940s-1950s. The piece features a square-form plate with rounded, scalloped corners and a gilded rim. The body has a pale mint-green or celadon ground, decorated with a series of small, multicolored floral transfer-ware bouquets featuring pink roses and blue forget-me-nots. A central white circular well is defined by a thick gold-gilt band. The plate is mounted with a detachable, polished chrome-plated metal handle that features a decorative undulating or 'wicket' silhouette, designed for serving small tea cakes or sandwiches. In terms of condition, there is a visible dark crack or deep scratch on the right side of the plate near the three o'clock position that breaks the surface of the glaze. There is also minor wear to the gold gilding on the outer rim and light surface scratches in the central white well, consistent with age and use.
