This is a small-to-medium decorative ceramic bud vase, characterized by a bulbous midsection, a tapered neck, and a distinctive ruffled or wavy 'pie-crust' rim. The item is constructed from glazed earthenware, featuring an opaque white tin-glaze ground typical of Majolica or Delftware-style pottery. The hand-painted decoration consists of a large blue floral motif on the frontal vessel body, accented with ochre centers, swirling foliate leaves in a lighter blue-grey, and small raised red dots or 'beads.' A solid blue band defines both the wavy rim and the circular footed base. The interior of the ruffled neck is finished in a warm peachy-terracotta glaze, creating a nice color contrast. In terms of condition, the vase exhibits significant wear around the delicate wavy rim, with several visible nicks and chips revealing the underlying reddish-orange clay body. There appears to be light surface crazing consistent with 20th-century decorative ceramics.
