This is a vintage Waterford Crystal set featuring a ship's style decanter with a matching stopper and five brandy snifters, all in the 'Glandore' pattern. The Glandore pattern is characterized by its delicate, hand-etched laurel leaf and diamond cut details, which offer a softer aesthetic compared to the deeper geometric cuts of the Lismore line. The decanter features a long, elegant neck with vertical ribbing that transitions into a bulbous base adorned with the laurel garland motif. Its stopper is a solid crystal faceted 'biscuit' or ball shape, properly fitted to the neck. The five brandy snifters share the same etched laurel pattern across their bowls, supported by short stems and circular bases. Crafted from high-lead crystal, the pieces exhibit excellent clarity and a high refractive index, typical of vintage Irish Waterford production. Based on the pattern and construction, these likely date from the late 20th century. The set appears to be in very good condition with no visible chips, clouding, or major scratches. The quality of the etching is consistent across all pieces, indicating superior craftsmanship.
