This is a decorative set of 12 small Chinese porcelain tea cups, presented in a red fabric-lined storage box. Each cup is intricately hand-painted in the Famille Rose style with a vibrant 'Double-Beauty' or figure-based decorative scheme. The interior bowls feature central medallions depicting various classical Chinese women (likely 'The Twelve Beauties of Jinling' or similar literary themes) in garden settings. The inner rims are heavily decorated with dense floral and butterfly motifs, dominated by pink lotuses, chrysanthemums, and various foliage in shades of orange, yellow, and turquoise green. The cups appear to be of thin-walled eggshell type porcelain, typical of 20th-century decorative exports. The application of the enamels is thick, creating a slight texture on the surface. While the exterior of the cups isn't fully visible, the gilt or painted rims appear largely intact with only minor shelf wear.
