This is a 6-inch vintage wooden fishing lure featuring a classic 'Pikie' minnow profile. The body is constructed of turned wood with a tapered tail, displaying a vibrant multi-color 'rainbow' paint scheme consisting of a white belly transitioning to a broad red stripe, a bright yellow upper side, and a darker olive or black back. It is equipped with three large treble hooks; two are belly-mounted via screw-eye hardware, and one is mounted at the tail. The hooks are currently fitted with protective clear plastic tubing. A distinctive metal diving lip is attached to the nose, designed to create a wobbling action when retrieved. The lure features small, black painted eyes located near the front. Condition-wise, the piece exhibits age-appropriate wear with localized paint loss, fine surface crazing throughout the finish (indicative of older lacquer or enamel), and light oxidation on the metal components.
