It is topped with a unique, stylized lyre or teardrop-shaped handle that terminates in a suspension loop at the top, likely intended for hanging or easy gripping. The handle is attached via a central pin and features two dark circular rubber or phenolic spacers at the junction to dampen vibration or protect the metal. Notably, the right arm of the handle features stamped text which appears to read 'ISRAEL' alongside other obscured characters, suggesting a mid-20th-century manufacture date, likely between 1950 and 1970.
