This item is an authentic United States Army Achievement Medal, accompanied by its matching service ribbon bar. The medal is fashioned from bronze and features a distinctive octagonal shape. The obverse side displays a central design based on the Department of the Army seal, featuring a cuirass, a liberty cap on a pike, and various military accoutrements including cannons and mortar balls. Above the central motif is the date '1775'. The medal is suspended from a high-quality silk or synthetic moiré ribbon characterized by a central blue stripe, bordered by thin white stripes and wide green stripes on the edges. The construction appears to be cast metal with a matte bronze finish typical of post-1981 military awards.
