100 Pesetas Banknotes (Spain, 1970)

This lot features two identical 100 Pesetas banknotes issued by El Banco de España, dated November 17, 1970. Both banknotes are rectangular, made of paper, and predominantly feature brown and cream/off-white colors. The design includes ornate borders, particularly along the left and bottom edges, with prominent '100' denominations in a stylized, almost floral pattern at the top-left and bottom-left corners. The central design prominently displays a portrait of a distinguished gentleman wearing glasses, facing right.
