This is a circular cupro-nickel circulation coin from Singapore, dated 1973. It belongs to the first series of Singaporean coinage, often referred to as the 'Marine Series.' The reverse side, visible in the image, features a central denomination indicator '20 CENTS' prominently in a serif typeface. Flanking the left side is a stylized wreath of two stalks of paddy, symbolizing prosperity and the agrarian roots of the region. The top and right perimeter are inscribed with '1973 SINGAPORE.' The coin is struck with a reeded edge and has a silver-colored metallic finish typical of its 75% copper and 25% nickel composition.
