This is a mid-century Sunbeam Mixmaster Model 12 standing mixer, likely dating from the late 1950s to the early 1960s. The unit features a die-cast metal body finished in a classic off-white or cream enamel, mounted on a solid black base. It includes the original white Glasbake milk glass mixing bowls—one large and one smaller nesting bowl—which exhibit the characteristic opaque quality of period ovenware. A notable feature is the black bakelite speed control dial at the rear of the motor housing, listed with clear numerical settings and corresponding functions such as 'Mashing Potatoes', 'Mixing Cakes', and 'Beating Eggs'. The Sunbeam script logo and 'MIXMASTER' block lettering are visibly embossed on the side. The set includes a pair of chrome-plated beaters stored within the bowl.
