The piece is characterized by a delicate scalloped rim adorned with a heavy gold 'daisy' or beaded relief border, a hallmark of high-quality French porcelain from this era. The decorative motif features the classic 'Haviland Rose' pattern, consisting of soft pink floral sprays with muted green and lavender foliage distributed around the rim and a central floral cluster. The glazing is smooth and white, typical of the kaolin-rich clay found in the Limoges region. Regarding condition, there is visible wear to the gold gilding on the raised beaded edges, particularly at the bottom left where the gilt has rubbed away to reveal the white porcelain underneath. There also appear to be minor surface abrasions and small dark kiln pin-marks consistent with antique production methods and age.
