This is a vintage 1971 ceramic whiskey decanter manufactured by Ezra Brooks, featuring the iconic 'Keystone Cops' in a crowded paddy wagon or vintage automobile. The piece is constructed from genuine Heritage China with a multi-colored glazed finish. The predominant color is a vibrant cobalt blue used for the officers' uniforms, contrasted against the black chassis of the car and gold-tone accents on the radiator and trim. The figures are captured in a comedic, frantic style characteristic of the silent film era troupe, with painted facial details, white gloved hands, and black police helmets. One officer at the front bears 'JM' on his cap. The wheels are finished in white with dark centers. This decanter originally contained Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and was finished with 24-karat gold accents. While the original paper labels and cork stopper appear missing in this view, the ceramic body shows a well-preserved glossy patina with minimal visible crazing or chipping.
