This is a diverse assembly of eight individual mineral and rock specimens, varying significantly in geological composition, size, and texture. The largest specimen is a light-colored, angular sedimentary or metamorphic rock, roughly 6-8 inches in length, exhibiting a tan-to-cream palette with visible pitting, surface crystallization, and iron-staining oxodization. The collection also includes several water-worn river stones; one is a smooth, tan oblong pebble, while another is a flat, grey, rounded stone showing glacial or fluvial weathering. A distinctive dark grey specimen at the top displays a grainy igneous texture, potentially basalt or gabbro, with a speckled crystalline surface. A smaller, reddish-brown stone appears to be hematite-rich or clay-based with a jagged, irregular fracture pattern. One small specimen features interesting white inclusions or possible small fossilized imprints on a dark matrix. The condition across the set is natural and unpolished, showing raw geological features such as surface dust, minor fractures, and varied levels of lithic weathering.
