This item is an elaborate, hand-carved tobacco pipe presented in a custom-built oak shadow box display case. The pipe features a two-toned construction, likely composed of a light-colored wood or reed stem and a darker wood or stone bowl section. The stem is decorated with intricate pyrography and carving, featuring a repeating geometric diamond and circular pattern with a textured, stippled background. The leftmost end of the stem shows a ribbed, graduated design. The bowl section is masterfully carved into what appears to be a zoomorphic or mythical creature, possibly a crocodile or serpent, with fine detail on the scales and facial features.
