Modern Reproduction Amethyst Ball Ideal Mason Jars

This set of four wide-mouth glass canning jars features the classic 'Ball' logo and 'IDEAL' embossing. While they mimic the appearance of antique 'Sun Purple' glass, these are modern reproductions, likely from the Ball Heritage Collection. The jars are constructed from a translucent, lavender or amethyst-tinted glass with a heavy, pressed-glass texture visible on the interior surface. Each jar is topped with a two-piece metallic lid consisting of a flat disc and a silver-toned screw band. The front displays the iconic cursive Ball script, a registered trademark symbol, and the word 'IDEAL' near the base. The reverse side features embossed text stating 'MADE IN USA'. The glass shows consistent coloring throughout, which differs from genuine antique manganese glass that typically purples unevenly upon UV exposure.
