Vintage Delft Blue Polychrome Scalloped Bowl

This is a hand-painted ceramic bowl featuring a classic Delft blue and white aesthetic. The item is constructed from a glaze-covered clay body, likely earthenware or porcelain, characterized by a white ground with deep cobalt blue decorative elements. Physically, the bowl has a unique heptagonal or octagonal lobed shape with a deep, scalloped rim that creates a floral silhouette when viewed from above. The interior decoration consists of a central floral bouquet focal point surrounded by a ring of six ornate cartouches.
