Vintage Hardee's The Smurfs Collector Series Glass Set (1982-1983)

This is a collection of six vintage promotional drinking glasses featuring characters from 'The Smurfs' animated series. These tumblers are made of clear, machine-pressed glass with a slightly tapered, cylindrical shape and thick base for stability. Each glass stands approximately 6 inches tall. The set showcases vibrant, multi-colored applied color labels (ACL) or silk-screened graphics depicting various characters in celebratory scenes, including Smurfette with a gift, Papa Smurf with party punch, Baker Smurf with a cake, and others engaging in music and festive activities. Each glass is marked with the character's name at the base of the graphic. These items were produced by Libbey Glass for a Hardee’s restaurant promotional campaign in the early 1980s, typically dated 1982 or 1983 Peyo. The paint application remains mostly bright and glossy, showing minimal signs of clouding or dishwasher damage, though there are minor instances of paint loss on the rims of the graphics. No significant chips or cracks are visible in the glass. The craftsmanship is consistent with high-volume commercial promotional glassware of the 20th century, designed for durability and mass-market appeal.
