Princess Diana Beanie Baby (Purple Bear Tribute)

This item is a Royal Purple 'Princess' Beanie Baby teddy bear, released by Ty Inc. in late 1997 to commemorate Princess Diana. The bear is constructed from soft purple plush pelts and stuffed with plastic pellets (P.E. or PVC pellets, internal to the body). It features small black plastic eyes and a black stitched nose. A notable feature is the white rose embroidered on the left side of the bear's chest, which is characteristic of the first and early editions of this model. The bear is enclosed in a clear acrylic display case, which has helped preserve its condition. Based on visual inspection through the case, the plush appears to be in excellent condition with no visible fading, matted fur, or staining. The 'heart' swing tag is visible and covered by a plastic protector; the state of the tag (creases or 'errors') greatly impacts the collectible value.
