This is an oval-shaped religious devotional medal, likely crafted from a base metal such as brass or bronze with a darkened, aged patina. The obverse side features a bas-relief depiction of Saint Christopher, the patron saint of travelers, carrying the Christ Child across a turbulent river—a classic iconographic motif. The St. Christopher figure is shown holding a staff, with the child resting on his shoulder.
