A standout feature is the pair of double-dolphin or stylized sea creature handles on either side, characterized by their whimsical, pink-toned fantastical features. Above the handles sits a domed ceramic lid element with openwork piercing. The entire porcelain body is mounted onto a tiered metal base with a dark brass or bronze patina, featuring decorative feet and a perforated gallery.
