Halcyon Days Enamels 1993 Christmas Box

This is a circular enamel pill or trinket box produced by the prestigious British firm Halcyon Days Enamels, dated 1993. The piece features a vibrant turquoise blue ground on the lid, decorated with a festive pile of wrapped colorful presents adorned with gift tags reading 'Joy', 'Peace', and 'Good Wishes'. The outer border of the lid is inscribed with 'Christmas 1993' in gold script, framed by a delicate holly and berry motif. The box is constructed from copper with hand-painted vitreous enamel and set in a polished gold-plated brass bezel with a hinged closure. It is housed in its original red presentation case, which features the Royal Warrant 'By Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen' stamped in gold on the interior satin lining. Physically, the item appears to be in excellent, near-mint condition with no visible cracks, chips, or loss to the enamel. The gold-tone hardware remains bright without significant tarnishing or scratches.
