The piece is composed of three distinct materials: a molded clear glass bowl, a cast metal figural pedestal, and a square marble base. The clear glass bowl is designed with a deep pressed-glass pattern resembling lotus petals or stylized feathers, culminating in a jagged, sawtooth-edged rim. The pedestal is a sculptural element depicting a cluster of three cherubic 'putti' or cupids standing back-to-back, their arms entwined around a central column that supports the bowl. This metal component shows a worn gold-toned brass or bronze finish with visible oxidation and darkening in the recessed areas, which suggests a cast white metal or spelter core under a plated surface. The entire assembly rests upon a square, white-and-grey veined marble plinth, approximately one inch thick.
