Ty Beanie Baby 'Peace' Bear (1996)

This is a Ty Beanie Baby known as 'Peace' the Bear, originally introduced in early 1997 with a 1996 copyright date. The item features a vibrant tie-dye pastel plush fabric, which is characteristic of this specific model; notably, the tie-dye pattern on every Peace bear is unique, making each individual piece one-of-a-kind. It measures approximately 8 inches in height and is constructed from a soft polyester fiber and P.E. pellet fill. The face consists of two small black plastic eyes and a larger black plastic nose. A distinctive embroidered multi-colored peace sign is located on the left side of the bear's chest. This specimen is in excellent condition, appearing to have been well-preserved. There is a visible 5th Generation heart-shaped 'swing' tag attached to the left ear, protected by a clear plastic tag protector, which prevents creasing and wear. The stitching appears robust with no signs of fraying or repair, and the colors remain bright and unfaded. The presence of P.E. pellets indicates a later production run than the initial PVC pellet versions, yet it maintains significant collector interest due to the pristine state of the tags and the clean, well-distributed tie-dye pattern.
