Set of Four Vintage and Antique Pipe Wrenches

A collection of four graduated pipe wrenches of varying age, manufacturer, and construction. The set includes two modern-style Stillson wrenches with red-painted cast iron bodies and two older, all-steel industrial wrenches. The largest wrench is a vintage TRIMO model, featuring a drop-forged steel handle with discernible patent dates (including 3-5-18) and a recessed frame design characteristic of early 20th-century American tool manufacturing. The second-largest is a heavy-duty steel pipe wrench marked 'MADE IN U.S.A.' with a distinctively thick sliding jaw housing. The two smaller wrenches feature the classic red enamel finish common in mid-to-late 20th-century plumbing tools; one is labeled 'HEAVY DUTY CHINA' and the other as a 'SUPER-DUTY' model. Physically, the items range significantly in size, with the largest approximately 18-24 inches in length. All items show significant signs of industrial use, featuring a heavy patina of surface rust, oil staining, and metal pitting. The serrated teeth on the jaws show varying degrees of rounding from use, and the knurled adjustment nuts exhibit dirt and grease buildup.
