Whitman Jefferson Nickels Coin Folder No. 9009 (Partially Filled)

This is a blue cardboard Whitman coin folder, specifically model No. 9009, designed for the collection of Jefferson Nickels starting from 1938. The folder measures approximately 5.75 by 7.75 inches when closed and features circular die-cut recesses for individual coins, each labeled with the year, mint mark (P, D, or S), and the original mintage numbers. The folder currently contains 19 coins out of a possible 25 slots shown. The coins are United States five-cent pieces (Jefferson Nickels) made primarily of a copper-nickel alloy, though several slots designated for 'War Nickels' (1942-1945 silver alloy) are seen. The visible coins show varying degrees of circulation wear, ranging from Good to Very Fine condition.
