This item is a bulbous, medium-sized storage canister constructed of thick, clear, soda-lime glass. The jar features a molded texture with a distinct embossed cherry vine or fruit pattern wrapping around the mid-section of the vessel, which provides both decorative appeal and an ergonomic grip. The glass exhibits a slight greenish-blue tint typical of mass-produced utility glass. It is equipped with a galvanized steel or stainless steel wire-bail flip-top closure mechanism, also known as a Fido or hermetic seal, which secures a matching glass lid. Between the lid and the rim sits a white or cream-colored rubber gasket, which shows mild signs of aging and compression, suggesting the jar is from the late 20th century, approximately 1980s to 1990s.
